A small major update, which added very little to RM 5.80, besides MOOMIZON, a place to buy 5.5 themed products.
RM 5.50, RM 3.00, and 2.0 done right. This update took longer than all of those and completely perfected the RM 5.5 UI to a t. Brand new, sleek, 5.5 logo, and a beautiful new recipes page. Also, this update was tested and perfected many times over, being a fan favorite update.
Another one of those: "biggest update of all time". As the update was essentially named after the website, I added the most pages to any update; four, and completely redesigned the website in its look. The original update had over 125 bugs however...
Why is everything purple now? RM 3.00; the one update that added all of its features in 1 day with no testing in the slightest.
The update after the so called "The Biggest Update in RM 5.5 History" added the worst 5.5 page in history, "PHOTO ALBUM", where no photos whatsoever, and was removed just two updates later.
This update that took over a month, yet all that changed was a poorly added green background and a page to view all of the members of the website. Although, this update did spark the website's redesign, changing the look of it forever...
Many of the early updates didn't many much, but this update did get the first ever way to communicate through the website (besides the chat); the blog page!
One of the simplest features, yet one of the most important; the search bar, was added in this update.
The first major update ever to Room 5.5, which mainly added a version number and a few slight adjustments.
Even though this update is vastly overshadowed by arguably the best 5.5 update of all time right before it, this update refined RM 5.70, as well as adding a brand new page in forum.
A perfect update some would say. One new page–memes, and a redesigned header from the chaotic update of RM 5.50.
The forgotten update some would say... I think Julien released this one too early on accident lol.
What even happened in this update? Beats me, I don't know.
INSTA 5.5 was the only good thing that came out of this update. Everything else was just to make it look like there was more things in it then there actually was.
The first: "Biggest update in RM 5.5 History". Many updates would later top this, but update 2.0 will always hold a special place in my heart, with all of the features added in this update. Crazy to think it only took 3 days though.
The first 6 updates of Room 5.5 were all made in less than a day, for this update, the events page was added.
Links were added in the footer, for easy access to useful sources, like information about Moomin, and my YouTube channel.
This is the original. The release of Room 5.5's official website on May 30, 2023. Just three pages; About us, Resume, and Projects. Projects is the only one of the three that no longer exists, getting deleted in update RM 5.50 (very fitting some would say). Although the website has changed significantly since its original version, the development of the home page shows the evolution of the website from simple beginnings to great heights. We have achieved so much in such a short time, and being able to look back at this original version compared to it now. Welcome 6.01 :)
